2024 ACFR POLITICAL ACTION CONFERENCE

28 Jun

THE CHALLENGE

Across Africa, conflicts war, and other forms of violence hinder peace and economic development.

War and conflicts impose political and economic consequences on people, communities, and countries across the African continent. The impact of war and violence goes far beyond the victims and has severe economic, social, and psychological implications for the larger society. Conflictual situations generate spill-over consequences both within and across continental borders. Peace is an essential precondition for business conduct and economic development.

To solve the problem, the African Council on Foreign Relations is organizing its premier ACFR Political Action Conference in partnership with African Economic Development Summit Group, an initiative of Djaha Investment Corporation.

The African Council on Foreign Relations Political Action Conference is an international annual event program that convenes political actors from Africa and the African diaspora worldwide to discuss critical issues affecting Africa’s political system.
