African Council on Foreign Relations (ACFR) Appoints Dr. Jean Narcisse Djaha as Executive Board Chairman to Lead Strategic Vision for Africa’s Global Engagement
Arlington, Virginia — September 29, 2025 — The African Council on Foreign Relations (ACFR) is proud to announce the re-appointment of Dr. Jean Narcisse Djaha as the new Executive Board Chairman, effective immediately. As Executive Board Chairman, Dr. Djaha will oversee the Council’s strategic direction, institutional development, and global partnerships, with a focus on positioning Africa as a proactive and visionary actor in shaping the future of international affairs. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding ACFR’s flagship initiatives, including the West Africa Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee, ACFR Global Youth Bureau, Global Africa Center, the ACFR Technology Review, ACFR Rural Digital, and the Presidential Leadership Fellowship Programs.
