ACFR Foundation’s mission is to bring together diverse stakeholders, partnerships, and resources from around the world to help support the growth of young entrepreneurs, build innovative development networks, and empower the best and brightest minds from Africa for the difficult challenges of today and future entrepreneurship ecosystems.
The Foundation is the social impact, and systems change arm of ACFR. It scales high-impact innovations and catalytic changes across entrepreneurship ecosystems in Africa.
We strongly believe that by supporting the next generation of high-impact entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs, leaders in impact and systems change, education technology, and building local champions, we will improve the effectiveness, performance, and competitiveness of both the private and public sectors. This will improve the lives of millions, increase the quality of entrepreneurship education, and business conduct in Africa, and provide huge opportunities for local communities.

In a world where technological innovation has become the norm, the African Council on Foreign Relations Foundation supports the development of technology-driven entrepreneurial and educational leaders and citizens who are high-impact and technology-driven and equipped to change their lives and that of those around them. This includes driving transformative systems change in their fields, influencing economic development policies, building industry powerhouses, increasing the number of high-impact educated entrepreneurs with tech skills in the global impact investing industry, as well as impacting the lives of millions of future social entrepreneurs that lead effective systems change.
