Virginia / Washington DC, USA, August 31, 2024 – The African Council on Foreign Relations is pleased to announce the organization of the premier ACFR Political Action Conference on October 04, 2024, online. The theme of the conference is: ”Powering Young People To Create Prosperity At Home.”
The conference will take place on October 04, 2024, online, from 11 am – 01:30 pm ET (Washington Time).
The African Council on Foreign Relations Political Action Conference is an international annual event program that convenes political actors from Africa and the African diaspora worldwide to discuss critical issues affecting Africa’s political system.
This important topic will be addressed in keynotes and plenary panel sessions, which will highlight the importance of strong continental collaboration and cooperation in the context of global geopolitical and geo-economic disruptions, crises, and downturns. In the course of the discussions, speakers will also address the fundamental importance of meeting the various economic challenges facing entrepreneurs, while accelerating economic opportunities for young people in Africa.
The ACFR Political Action Conference is expected to have more than 500 attendees in 2024. You can expect to see leaders from private and public sector trade development institutions, multilateral organizations, academia and research institutions, civil society, and philanthropic organizations from Africa and around the world.
The conference aims to:
